HEE WELLING（ヒー・ウェリング）/ デザイナー

ヒー・ウェリングはデンマークの家具デザイナーです。2003年、コペンハーゲンに自身のスタジオを設立しました。ウェリングは、Bo Bedre Award（デンマーク）、Good Design Award（米国）などの数多くのデザイン賞を受賞。2013年、2014年のDanish designer of the yearにノミネートされました。ウェリングは家具職人の家に生まれ、生産技術、素材、機械への興味は幼い時に芽生えました。ヘルシンキのUniversity of Art and Designで学び、Royal Danish Academy of Fine Artsで家具デザインの修士号を取得しました。現在は同院でデザインの講師を務めています。彼のデザインへの信念は、多くの人に向けて技術的に完成度の高い製品を制作することです。彼の作品は、美しいプロポーションと優雅でエレガントな見た目が特徴です。
